King kone: My masterpiece

I got my first taste of copywriting at my summer job in high school slinging soft serve at King Kone in Merrimack, NH. They let me come up with cute lil zingers to put on their sign and then I took a giant suction cup on a stick and stuck the plastic letters up one by one. It was sick. My favorite line of them all was “BOOM BOOM POW GET PEANUT BUTTER NOW” (it was 2007). Anyways, I still write things for their sign sometimes and the owner sends me pics because life is a circle. Yeehaw!
